Introduction of a Swiss trust law - benefits from the perspective of the Swiss legal profession

A (new) Swiss trust law, an expansion of the existing "Treuhand", i.e. a "civil law trust", gives the legal profession (and the trust industry) an additional estate planning instrument that can also be used for their Swiss clients. The documents for customer identification no longer have to be sent abroad, and there is an opportunity - together with the revival of the Swiss Family Foundation - to create a harmonized tax regime for the structuring of assets.
